Plastic Marking with a uv Laser

A uv laser  is the perfect choice for marking engineered plastic parts with barcodes, serial numbers and logos. Our plastic marking systems come in a variety of sizes so you can laser mark large parts one at a time, or load the table with a jig of parts to engrave hundreds at once.

By using uv Laser (355 nm) technology, the laser quickly creates a permanent mark on your plastic part by reacting with the chemicals in the plastic to create a colored mark on the plastic, whether it is black, white, orange, or many other colors of plastic.

You are looking for a high-quality plastic mark.

With marking resolution up to 1200 dpi, you can easily mark plastic parts with a high-quality mark.

You want to use software you are already using.

Our uv laser systems allow you to operate the laser from almost any Windows-based software, including AutoCAD, Bartender, Adobe and CorelDRAW. Connect the laser to your computer through an ethernet or USB connection.

You want to bring your expensive outsourcing of marking inhouse.

Cut your expenses by bringing expensive plastic marking inhouse. By adding a uv laser system to your business, you can cut costs, and you'll constantly find new projects for the laser that can add value to the products you sell.

You need to engrave extremely small font sizes.

You can mark fonts down to 2.5 pt. in size with our fiber lasers - you'll need a microscope to read it, but it's possible to engrave!

You need to be able to quickly train employees to run the laser.

There is no need to learn new software with an uv laser system. The software you are using to create your barcodes right now will probably run the laser. You don't need to spend expensive time training and retraining employees on specialty software.

Your parts to barcode are large (up to 48" x 36" x 12.5").

By directing the laser beam through a series of mirrors, our uv laser systems have been designed to engrave a large work area up to 48" x 36" (1219 x 914 mm). The flying-optic design is a state-of-the-art X/Y mechanical design borne from Epilog's years of manufacturing experience in CO2 laser marking and cutting systems.

Your parts will fit in a jig so you can engrave multiple parts at once.

Create a jig to place your parts and engrave hundreds of pieces at one time. Our systems feature a front-access door with strong hydraulic struts, allowing you to easily place your jig of parts either through the top window door or through the front of the laser system. Both of these safety-interlocked doors provide fast and efficient parts placement and removal.

Rather than using a dedicated operator to engrave one piece at a time, you can set the machine to start engraving and walk away, returning when the lasering is complete.
