The instability of laser marking power, sometimes strong and sometimes weak, will lead to the poor processing technology of the enterprise and the generation of defective products. For this reason, our company is now analyzing and solving it specially. There are many reasons why the laser marking power is unstable, strong and weak. Our company summarizes the common reasons into the following seven points. Here, we will list the problems one by one and then list the detailed solutions.

 

1. The printed handwriting is blurry and the marking speed is too fast

Solution: The marking speed is too fast, slow down the speed. If the laser spot changes, re-adjust it to make the spot the brightest and roundest. If it is ok, please call the manufacturer.

 

2. The standard value of the voltage of the switching power supply of the laser has dropped. It can be measured by using a multimeter. The voltage of the laser power supply 30V has dropped, which is obviously insufficient.

Solution: replace the new switching power supply, and after normal operation, please increase the laser power, 100% light output, and then test whether the voltage of the laser power supply is normal, please keep it for 5 minutes, if the voltage is maintained within 5 minutes within 30V, It proves that the switching power supply can be used normally, if not, please replace the power supply with a larger power.

 

3. Looking through the dimming paper, the laser does not penetrate the center of the galvanometer, and the laser optical system is not a problem

Solution: Adjust the light output direction of the laser and tighten it. The beam expander should also be clear: the light enters the light from the center of the incoming light, and then adjusts to the center of the beam expander to exit the light.

 

Fourth, the marking line is thick, the marking is weak, the possible problem: the surface of the workpiece is no longer focused on the plane

Solution: adjust the surface of the workpiece to the focus, and pay attention to it in future operations, replace the marking material, and remember to adjust the focus plane

 

5. The position of the center light entrance hole of the optical path non-vibration mirror, this problem is more complicated, generally the old-fashioned machine has the above problem

Solution: 

1. How the deviation is small can be requested through the light outlet of the beam expander (the laser at the light entrance must be in the center of the beam expander, and the normal deviation cannot exceed 1MM)

2. If the deviation exceeds 1MM, it is necessary to move and re-fix the laser. It may be necessary to disassemble the laser and then process a set of suitable holes to calibrate the position of the laser. On this issue, everyone should not blindly adjust the beam expander. To adjust the optical path, once the deviation is too large, the power of the laser and the laser spot shaping effect will be greatly reduced, so the laser marking effect has a great impact, which is mainly reflected in:

a. The output power of the laser decreases, which greatly shortens the life of the laser by increasing the laser power for processing.

b. The laser cannot completely enter the field lens, and the laser intensity is uneven within the effective marking range.

c. When the laser enters a certain angle of the galvanometer, the computer software sets the center to deviate from the physical center of the galvanometer, and the marking will have obvious unadjustable distortion.

d. The light spot changes seriously, and the beam expansion effect of the light spot cannot be achieved.

 

6. The marking software has changed the version, and the mode of laser light output has not been selected

Solution: Reselect the correct light output mode
