How deep will the laser etch into glass?

With a laser you can create a very light etch. This is not sandblasting and you won't achieve that depth, but you can quickly create very elaborate designs with a laser that is lightly etched into the glass. It's a unique look that many people prefer to sandblasting.

Do I have to mask the glass before engraving?

Unlike sandblasting, with a laser you are only engraving where you tell the laser beam to fire, so there is no masking required.

What glass products can I etch?

The laser can etch flat glass, mugs, crystal, wine glasses, beer mugs (even with handles!), champagne bottles, and much more.

Is laser etching wine bottles possible?

Yes! many of our customers engrave wine bottles with the laser to create custom gifts or a one-of-a-kind piece for their collection.

How to etch on glass:

Laser etching glass is very easy - start by installing the Rotary Attachment in the laser to rotate your glass as you engrave. Set up your image in CorelDraw, Illustrator or other software just as if you were printing to paper. Send it to the laser, and it will beautifully etch the glasses, wine bottles and mugs!

Can I do other things with the laser?

Yes! You can also engrave and cut wood, acrylic, plastic, marble, leather, and many more materials.
