In the field of 3D printing, UV lasers are mainly used to solidify liquid photosensitive resin to form a solid laminated structure. Among them, 3W and 5W ultraviolet lasers are two common power specifications, which refer to the laser output power of 3 watts and 5 watts respectively.

The application of 3W UV laser is mainly reflected in the balance between printing speed and printing accuracy. Its lower output power makes the curing speed of photosensitive resin slower, but it can effectively avoid overheating or deformation during the printing process, improving printing accuracy and quality. Therefore, for some 3D printing applications that require high precision, such as medical devices, microelectronics and other fields, 3W UV lasers are a good choice.

 

In contrast, 5W UV lasers have higher output power and can complete large-area curing operations in a short time.
